Fri. Jun 27th 2008 What can I say to you that hasn't already been said during the past year? I just want all of you to know how much I admire and respect the members of the CFD for your courage, tenacity and dedication to make the CFD and the entire fire service better, safer and stronger.
You have endured an unimagineable tragedy and still work hard every day to serve with pride and dedication. You are an inspiration to all of us!
God Bless all of you and may He and Charleston's 9 Guardian Angels watch over you and your families. Also, take good care of our Brother and friend, Tom Horn who started his fire service career with our department in KY.
We will always remember the 9 fallen brothers as well as all of you left to treasure their memories. - Chief Rick Albers, Goshen KY
